The eleventh issue of the magazine dedicated to Roots Tourism has been released. The monthly magazine - part of the Farnesina project included in the PNRR - is available free of charge digitally in Italian, English, Spanish and Portuguese, and collects examples of Roots Travel, with useful tips, and urges different types of travelers to plan their "return" to the places of the heart. In this new issue, proposed itineraries to San Martino di Castrozza in Trentino-Alto Adige, Mamoiada in Sardinia and Castelseprio in Lombardy. Then an exciting report of the journey of the roots of Joe Avati, a famous Italian-Australian comedian who visited Calabria, his family's homeland. And also the presentation of the project "Il Civico delle Radici" (“The Roots Street Number”) of the Museum of Italian Emigration in Genoa, which, thanks to a QR code placed in some city locations, will allow people to discover the stories of Italian emigrants. Moreover, the synergy between the Dante Alighieri Society and the National Italian American Foundation is on its way to promote Italian-American culture and Italian language courses in the United States. Also from the States comes an interview with John Viola and Patrick O'Boyle, voices of the Italian American Podcast, a reference point for the Italian-American community. Then a review of the book "El Árbol de la Familia / The Family Tree", in which Italian-Argentine Oscar Mantegari recounts his adventure to rebuild his roots. Finally, a selection of experiences throughout Italy for root tourists: from the "tropical" tour in Sicily, amidst food and good wine, to walking among Italy's tallest fir trees in the Vallombrosa Forest, in the province of Florence.
