In 2024, Italian enterprises' exports through Amazon reached 3.8 billion euros. The multinational announces this while presenting the "Made in Italy" showcase, which celebrates its tenth anniversary this year. It is a tool that improves national productions by creating an ad hoc area that is visible on the platform. Initiated with 5,000 items in the Tuscany-focused regional area, the showcase now offers around 3 million items for sale in eleven countries and involves 5,500 companies. As part of the fourth edition of the "Made in Italy Days”, which will take place from May 26 to June 2, unique promotional offers will be introduced in partnership with the ICE Agency. The showcase, which aims to present the finest examples of Italian craftsmanship in various sectors, selects items that satisfy the criteria of Made in Italy, products that are wholly manufactured in Italy, or products that have undergone a final and pertinent processing phase in the country, in accordance with the current legislation. Today, there are approximately 21 thousand SMEs distributed throughout the country that sell through Amazon's online platform, and the corporation has invested $4 billion in Italy by 2023.
