Director and actor Nanni Moretti, 71, has been hospitalized at San Camillo Hospital in Rome after suffering a heart attack. He received prompt medical attention, was stabilized, and is currently in the Intensive Care Unit under observation. His condition is stable, and according to hospital sources, he remains in good spirits. This is not the first time Moretti has experienced such an episode. In October 2024, he suffered a heart attack on the day of the Naples premiere of Vittoria, a film he produced. On that occasion, he reassured the public with a video from the hospital, promising a swift recovery. On March 23, Moretti appeared to be in good health at the Petruzzelli Theater in Bari, where he held a masterclass following the restored screening of “Ecce Bombo” (1978).
