A large-scale operation by Milan's Mobile Squad has led to the arrest of 50 people, including 18 minors, accused of robberies and snatch-and-grabs that took place on the city's streets, subway stations and public transport. The operation, the result of a thorough investigation, resulted in the execution of pre-trial detention orders and arrests ordered by the Prosecutor's Office. According to initial information, those arrested are all second-generation Italians. The investigation also revealed the existence of a single fencing network, located in the San Siro area, where the stolen items and jewelry were resold. In addition to the crimes of robbery and theft, the suspects are also charged with criminal conspiracy, receiving stolen goods, and money laundering.
