Flavio Cobolli caught his first ATP title by winning the Bucharest Open (ATP 250). The 21-year-old Roman won on Romanian clay with a solid and mature performance, beating Argentina's Sebastian Baez in the final with a double 6-4. After a very balanced first set, decided by a break in the seventh game, Cobolli was able to keep his concentration high even in the second partial, closing the match on the seventh match point. A week to be framed for the young Italian, who thus enters the club of active Italian ATP champions, becoming the eighth representative of the Belpaese in the feat. With this triumph, Italy reaches 100 ATP singles titles in the Open Era, a symbolic milestone that makes Cobolli's victory even more special.
