A delegation from the Lazio Region, led by President Francesco Rocca, had three days of meetings in New York. Together with some of the territory's most innovative companies in the fields of pharmaceuticals, sustainable technology and airport management, the Region was engaged in several meetings, presentations and networking in order to create strategic partnerships and start the foundations for new development opportunities. The New York stop was part of the program of the many initiatives that see Lazio as the National Italian American Foundation's 2025 Region of Honor. Rocca was accompanied by Lazio's Vice President and Councilor for Economic Development Roberta Angelilli and the President of the Chamber of Commerce of Rome Lorenzo Tagliavanti, the region's partner in the initiative. Farmindustria, Confapi, Confimprese, Aeroporti di Roma, Maire, Angelini Ventures, Alfasigma, and Almaviva are some of the companies that brought their know-how to New York, with the aim of activating relationships and partnerships with key players in the U.S. business and financial ecosystem. It was also a top-level showcase for 20 innovative startups and SMEs in the aerospace, energy and Artificial Intelligence sectors that were able to take part in the mission.
