The Torre Annunziata Public Prosecutor's Office has placed four people on the register of suspects in connection with the Monte Faito cable car tragedy that claimed the lives of four people last Thursday. They are managers and employees of EAV, the entity that manages the facility: Marco Imparato, operations and maintenance manager; general manager Pasquale Sposito; and employees Giancarlo Gattuso and Pasquale di Pace. The registration is a due act, necessary to allow the suspects to appoint party consultants ahead of the autopsy, scheduled for April 24. The investigation alleges crimes of culpable disaster, manslaughter, and culpable injury: the latter charge is related to the injury of a 23-year-old young man, an Arab citizen with an Israeli passport, who is still hospitalized at Naples' Ospedale del Mare.
