Cairo - The Italian Cultural Institute in Cairo announces the presentation of the book "La mia tela yemenita" by Amedeo Guillet, published by ISMEO in 2022 with the support of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The event will take place on April 29th at 6:00 PM at the auditorium of the Italian Cultural Institute in Cairo. Starting from Amedeo Guillet's autobiographical book about his experience in Yemen, Professors Giuliano Lancioni (University of Roma Tre) and Alfredo Guillet, the curator of the volume along with Rosangela Barone, and Major Emanuele Di Muro, military historian of the SME, will delve into the highlights of his personality and some key moments of his diplomatic and military activity in the Middle East. The director Ascanio Guerriero, author of a documentary film about Guillet, will also intervene, and the film will be screened at the conclusion of the debate. The event will be hosted by the director of the Italian Cultural Institute in Cairo, Davide Scalmani. (9colonne)
