“Misperceive” by Girolamo Marri at Cape Town Art Fair

(8 February 2017) Cape Town has a very bustling art scene and the home of the Cape Town Art Fair – an unmissable event that includes contemporary art from African countries and from around the world from February 17 to February 19 for emerging artists and professionals in the art field. This event – looked forward to by art lovers, investors, and collectors – will also feature works by Girolamo Marri. The exhibition “Misperceive” by the Italian artist will be showcased in conjunction with the Cape Town Art Fair open to the public at the 64 Wale Street gallery from February 17 to February 19 from 17:00 to 20:00. It is under the organisation of the Italian Cultural Institute of Pretoria in collaboration with the Italian Consulate in Cape Town, Cape Town Art Fair and Capo d’Arte. (red)

THE EXHIBITION

The exhibition consists of a series of installations and performance pieces that make up the collection of works, the production and alteration of images, objects, sounds, texts, and spaces to represent and influence the reality of the idea that humanity evolves through mistakes.
