this is the title of the European Forum Debate entre de Jóvenes (Eurohole) meeting, held recently at the Great Hall of Madrid Italian School. Carlos María Bru Purón, former president of the Spanish Federal Council European Movement; Enrique Barón Crespo, former President of the European Parliament; Stefano Sannino, Italian Ambassador in Spain; María Andrés Marín, director of the Office of the European Parliament in Madrid and Paola Gasco, educational director of the Italian High School. Professor María Teresa Fernández moderate the meeting. The Italian School of Madrid is part of the Ambassador Schools of the European Parliament (EPAS Program). (Red)

ABOUT / COMMITMENT TO THE ITALIAN LANGUAGE

Italian Embassy in Madrid promotes and spreads Italian language and culture in Spain through its cultural sector, directing and coordinating the activities of Italian Cultural Institutes. The activities continue to be based on the Agreement of Cultural Cooperation, signed in Rome on August 11, 1955 regarding promotion of Italian culture, with particular attention to contemporary culture, as well as the teaching of it. The diffusion of Italian language and culture in Spain, is also promote by Culture Institutes of Madrid and Barcelona, through their courses and their many activities. These Iic are flanked by two Italian State Educational Institutions (Madrid and Barcelona), 5 assistantships distributed throughout many Spanish universities, Dante Alighieri Society committees and various private educational centers.
