THE THREAD

Dasy (Marianna Fontana) and Viola (Angela Fontana) are two Siamese Neapolitan twins and neo-melodic singers who perform at village festivals, baptisms, and weddings, pushed by their family who wants to profit from their condition. The whole family - mother, father, and uncle - live to exploit the girls who are treated like circus freaks. One day the sisters learn that there is the possibility of being separated and that they can each have their own life, but their family - afraid of risking a source of income - put them in front of a moral blackmail.
