(7 July 2017) The two-day "Temporary Library" project closed today in Lisbon. In the context of the 5th Edition of xCoAx (International Conference on Computing, Communication, Aesthetics and X) organised by the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon, with the support of the Italian Institute of Culture of Lisbon - the 'Temporary Library' by Alessandro Ludovico, critic, artist, and publisher of the journal "Neural" made a stop in Lisbon. The 1st edition of 'Temporary Library' was held at Berlin's Transmedial Festival and stems from a reconsideration of libraries as dynamic and independent forms that can be created and shared. The Temporary Library for xCoAx will be designed to reflect the context of media arts in Portugal, in agreement with conference topics, such as communication, computing, and aesthetics. (Red)
