(July 19, 2017) The photo exhibition "The Museum in Closed" will be inaugurated on Saturday, July 22 in Sarajevo. The project, sponsored by the Embassy of Italy in Sarajevo, collects 31 photographs taken by Italian photographer Emanuele Mascioni during his travels to Northern Europe, Texas, Italy and above all in the Balkans. The inauguration of the exhibition takes place in the city where it all started when, during a trip to Sarajevo in 2012, Mascioni was struck by the inscription "The Museum is Closed" on the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Not knowing the reasons for the closure, he took the first picture of what would become his collection. The event will be opened by a press conference to be held at 11am at the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina and will continue with the inauguration of the exhibition at 12am at the Museum of History of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where photos will be exhibited for a month.
