Theater, the first tour of Regio Theater in Oman at Royal Opera House

(September 8, 2017) The long season of the international tours of Regio Theater continues. The next stop will be from September 14 to 17  whith the first tour in the Middle East which will bring Orchestra and Choir of the Theater to the prestigious and majestic Royal Opera House in Oman, performing Verdi's Aida by Gianandrea Noseda and directed by William Friedkin. Friedkin's direction is taken by Riccardo Fracchia, personally chosen by the great film director, scenes and costumes by Carlo Diappi, choreographic movements by Anna Maria Bruzzese, lights by Andrea Anfossi. The Choir of the Regio Theater, engaged in important steps within the work, is taught by Claudio Fenoglio. "In recent months - a note said - Regio Theater has traveled 25.894 km, but the journey has not ended. We still expect 9.880 km to go and return from Muscat. From June to September we traveled for 35.774 km, practically as if we had three times the Moon ride". (Red)   


ABOUT / PREVIOUS STOPS

After Buenos Aires, the Orchestra and Choir of Regio, always directed by Gianandrea Noseda, were protagonists at the International Festival with Bohème, Macbeth and Verdi's Requiem. They have received a very warm public success and an extraordinary welcome from the critics and received the prestigious Herald Angel Award 2017. After Edinburgh, the Choir of Regio was guest at the Gstaad Menuhin Festival Switzerland, performing Verdi's Aida (with London Symphony Orchestra) while the Theater Orchestra performed a concert in Milan for MiTo Settembre Musica (both appointments were directed by Noseda).
