Pinocchio exits the fable <br> a photographic exhibition

The Italian Institute of Culture in Berlin will host the exhibition "Pinocchio esce dalla fiaba" (Pinocchio Exits the Fable) until May 16th. The photographic exhibition is dedicated to one of the most representative figures of Tuscan culture, portrayed in the photographs of the internationally renowned Aldo Fallai. The style of the 32 shots taken at the sites where the story is set, between the Swiss Pescia region and Collodi highlights and activates the iconic nature of the character born in 1881 from the imagination of Carlo Lorenzini. The photographs transmit an atmosphere of temporal suspension of a contemporary fairy tale.  The wooden puppet that becomes a child - as described in the pages of Collodi - thus becomes a symbol of Tuscan craftsmanship capable of bringing inanimate material to life, representing Tuscany's uniqueness for its history, art, beauty, landscapes, and lifestyle. The exhibition was organised in collaboration with the Region of Tuscany and Toscana Promozione.
