(February 15, 2017) Italy is India Design Week 's (16 to 19 February) partner country  as part of Ice's campaign to promote 'made in Italy' in India. In this occasion Triennale Design Museum presents the "Under 35. The exhibition - which comprises prototypes, serial production, industrial and craft products  - will be open to the public on February 16 at 7PM at the Okhla NSIC Grounds in Delhi. In agreement with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Italian Embassy, the duration of the exhibition will be extended so as to make possible the exposure on Italian Design Day (March 2) at the Embassy spaces. Both during India Design Week and Design Day the curators of the exhibition will illustrate the principles of italian design and industrial production. (Red)

ABOUT / A MARKET RICH OF OPPORTUNITY

India is a market with great potential despite the complexity of the country. In fact, despite the presence of customs duties (25/30% for home furnishings products) and regulatory constraints, the Indian market shows rich potential for Italian companies in the interior decoration sector, thanks to the growing middle class, the urbanization and the big request  of made in Italy furnishing products wich exceeds the supply . The Italian imports of furniture products are in constant growth and made in Italy products are generally appreciated for materials, great design, quality and attention to details.
