The Black Box: Fabio Novembre <br> design in an IIC conference

(February 21, 2017) A conference to narrate the visionary power of the interior and the objects designed by Fabio Novembre in the last twenty years, organized as part of Italian Design Day. The event, titled "The Black Box", will be held on March 3 at the Italian Institute of culture in Tokyo and is organized in partnership with the Embassy of Italy. The work of Novembre - says the Institute of culture in the presentation - is now one of the few outside voices of Italian architecture: evocative environments usable at multiple levels, in which the visitor is always Actor in a world made by multiple suggestions, from cinema to fashion, from art to literature. Architecture where the perception of space, cut and felt in such a visceral way, results in strong expressiveness, never self-indulgent. A labor of icons and symbols that will last over time and show that another future is possible for the Italian and international design. The conference will be held in Italian with Japanese-language translation. (Red)
