Rome Treaties: Celebrations with music by Carlo Domeniconi and Guitar Integration

(23 March 2017) Guitar Art Festival is one of the leading classical music festivals in Serbia. The 18th Guitar Art Festival will be held from 20th to 25th March in Belgrade. The theme of this year’s festival is the development of cultural collaborations in the field of music between Serbia and other countries through collaborations, training opportunities and contests for young artists and professionals in the music sector. In light of the 60th anniversary of the Rome Treaties – one of the most important moments in the history of Europe – the Italian Cultural Institute of Belgrade in collaboration with the Italian Embassy and the EU delegation to Belgrade, promoted the closing ceremony of the Festival and the musical project titled “Guitar Integration” for which acoustic guitarist Carlo Domeniconi is composing a premier piece for 6 guitars on Saturday March 25th at 20:30 (Dom Omladine, Makedonska 22). CARLO DOMENICONI

Carlo Domeniconi’s compositions are primarily for solo, duo, trio or quartet guitar pieces or for a combination with other instruments and vocals. He has composed for more than 20 concerts and performs his own compositions in major theatres music festivals in the world.
