"Italian Food Festival": in Korea the flavors of tradition

(April 28, 2017) Traditional Italian dishes are back in South Korea: the sixth edition of the Italian Food Festival will be held in Seoul during May, organized by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Korea. In the past few days, the event was presented at the local press at the Conrad hotel in Seoul's "Atrio" restaurant. The sixth edition included 12 Italian restaurants in the capital, members of the Italian Chamber of Commerce, who next to their usual menus will present their Customers, respectively, dishes of the Venetian, Piedmont, Romagna, Lombardy, Marche, Lazio, Umbrian, Sardinian, Campania, Apulian and Sicilian traditions. During the conference, attended by the Italian Ambassador in Seoul, Marco della Seta, each of the restaurants attending the Festival presented and made a taste of one of the dishes of its regional menu. In his greeting, Ambassador della Seta wanted to emphasize the importance of the Festival and its strong contribution to the greater knowledge of Korean consumers of the traditions and cultures that have made Italian cuisine a well known and appreciated brand in the world thanks to the presence in many countries of Italian restaurants and chefs.
