Exhibitions:

(5 May 2017) "Luci e ombre: persone e luoghi del Sud Italia" (Lights and Shadows: People and Places of South Italy), a focus on Nicodemo Misiti's photography, will be inaugurated on 10 May and will remain open until 17 May in the Rome Hall of the Italian Cultural Institute of Buenos Aires. The protagonists of the exhibition are the disappearing ancient traditions and cultures of Italy. "People and places" have been immortalised by the photographer - professor of languages specializing in dialectology and ethnolinguistics - with the aim of promoting Italy's historical, cultural, anthropological, religious and naturalistic aspects. The exhibition is the result of years of work conducted by Misiti in the South of Italy. The inauguration will follow a presentation by the sociologist Grazia Lapenna, an expert on the subject (PO /red)
