Beijing Career Day: young Italians and job opportunities in China

(9 May 2017) "Beijing Career Day" is an initiative that was born to provide guidance to young Italians who are increasingly looking towards the Chinese job market and to facilitate networking with Italian companies. This year's 4th "Beijing Career Day" was hosted by the Italian Embassy in Beijing with the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China (CCIC) and the Association of Young Italians in China (AGIC). The event was held on Sunday 7 May in the Auditorium of the Italian Institute of Culture in Beijing and was introduced by Ambassador Ettore Francesco Sequi. A hundred Italian young people took part in the initiative. Career Day has been divided into a first session of thematic workshops followed by a second part devoted to direct encounters between young people and business representatives. B2B meetings between Italian companies and young people were attended by 13 Italian companies in the manufacturing, fashion, real estate, furniture, tourism, and training sectors. (Red)
