Art: The stories of 31 Italian-Australian artists

(14 June 2017) The art book published by the Consulate General in Melbourne that tells the creative path of 31 Italian-Australian artists is titled "Ritratti" (Portraits). Melbourne is home to a lively group of artists of Italian origins, and the Consulate General has selected those considered "the most brilliant artists that offer a different perspective": "Some have created their art in a form of narrative, while others chose to focus on their visual impact; others use traditional oil painting, engraving techniques or video-makers. The publication consists of a series of figures that share a strong bond with our country and whose Italians are often a precious source of inspiration to draw from". (Red)
