The group is ready to bring Salento's popular music out of the national borders: on Sunday, July 2, their world tour will stop in Pombal, Portugal, as part of the Festival Siete Sois Siete Luas. The world tour includes 25 concerts in Spain, Portugal, France, Austria, Estonia, Germany, Slovakia, Denmark, Canada and Italy. The Salenti band will perform in the prestigious festival, born under the auspices of the Nobel Prize winner Josè Saramago, who since 1996 hosts the best of the world-wide scene and performs concerts in 13 countries. The Kalàscima Summer Tour 2017 will continue on July 4 at the Fex Festival in Granada, Spain; on July 19 at the Trefpunt Festival in Ghent, Belgium; on July 20, Het Lindeboom Festival Loon in Plage, France; July 22 Wackelstein Festival in Amaliendorf, Austria; July 28 and July 30 Viljandi Folk Music Festival of Viljandi in Estonia; September 14 Global Music Festival Akkordeon Akut Festival in Halle, Germany; September 22 Bratislava World Music Festival in Bratislava, Slovakia; September 23 Global Club of Copenhagen in Denmark; November 14-17 Mundial Montreal in Montreal, Canada, an important international music fair as a reference point for the North American market.
