(21 July 2017) The Dante Alighieri Society is gaining momentum in the world. A delegation of the Society led by the Deputy Secretary General, Andrea Vincenzoni was welcomed yesterday in Tirana by the Minister of Education and Sport of Albania, Mirela Karabina. The visit was an opportunity to confirm the Dante Society's commitment to promoting Italian culture and language in the country. Particular emphasis was given to PLIDA (Italian Language Project Dante Alighieri) - the Dante's Italian language certification system, spread all over the world. The Tirana and Argirocastro Committees have long been involved in the certification of the Italian language skills PLIDA; Is a very important task done by Dante, made possible by the continuous improvement of the tools developed by the Headquarters with the monitoring of an authoritative Scientific Council. THE DANTE SOCIETY
The Dante Alighieri Society is a non-profit association with over 400 chapters around the world whose mission is the spread of Italian culture and language.
