(August 11, 2017) At Arteria - International Festival of Visual Arts in Novigrad (August 17 - 22), this year dedicated to bicycling in the bicentennial of its birth - will be exhibited the installation "In the Water Being" by Marco Milia. The event is organized by Muzej - Lapidarium Museum in collaboration with the Italian Institute of Culture of Zagreb. "In The Water Being" is an installation consisting of 35 circular polycarbonate circles of blue color, each of a diameter of 200cm. Fundamental is the relationship that comes to life with the spectator of the work, which makes the work come alive, is welcomed within it to become an integral part. The circular shape and the crystalline blue material are compared with the ever-changing place in an interlacing and overlapping set. The work invites the spectator to rethink space, to fragment the points of view to reveal a different place, always different from itself. People who enter into dialectics with the structure go into its circular spaces in their personal path. (Red)

ABOUT / AN INSTALLATION THAT "PULSATES"

The installation "lightly invades" the place, vibrates and pulsates because it is experienced by people entering it. The user enters a network of relationships, in a set of perspectives, in a communications system, and in a complex game of movement.
