(August 28, 2017) The Italian "Cantastorie" exhibition dedicated to Italian puppeteers and ministrels, which handed down a large and yet little-known paintings and pictorial cycles on large themes of Italian art and literature, was inaugurated at the Kunsthaus Museum in Zurich on August 25. The exhibition, organized by the Kunsthaus Museum and open to the public until October 8, collects about  80 masterpieces of great popularity painted in the first decade of the twentieth century, which for the first time in Switzerland will be staged in the large exhibition hall of Zurich museum.  "Cantastorie" - as reported on the site of the Italian Cultural Institute in Zurich - is a precious collection, guarded for generations by families of puppetry Parisi and Maldera, respectively from Foggia and Naples, who have shown these paintings for viewers to approach them to the great themes of culture: pretty princesses, heroic knights, furious battles and voracious monsters.
