Author Saša Perugini makes a pit-stop in Bern. She graduated in English and Russian languages and literature (Università di Siena) and obtained a Ph.D. in History of Performing Arts (Tufts University, Boston). She debuted in 2004 with "Intimo abbecedario" which was also translated into Serbian. She then published "Variazioni cromatiche" (2010), "Con un buco nel cuore" (2011), "Assaggi" (2012), "Le Leopolda che non hanno raccontato"(2013). Some of her poems have been translated and published in the USA. Since 2014, she has contributed as a blogger to Huffington Post Italia. And has worked in the academic field since 1995, (University of Siena, IES Abroad Rome, Monash University Prato). She is the director of Syracuse University in Florence since 2011 where she teaches comparative pedagogy and internationalisation. The Dante Alighieri Society - Committee of Bern invited Perugin to talk on Thursday 1 February at 19:00 (at the Unitobler, room F022, Lerchenweg 36, 3012 Bern). On this occasion the author will present the book "Con un buco nel cuore" to the public. She will present and moderate the debate on Saverio Braccini.
