Architect Massimo Roj has been named "ambassador" of Italian design in Beijing. The occasion is the Italian Design Day, which is celebrated all around the world on March 1st. It will be a day in which the Ministry of Foreign Affairs dedicates to one of the aspects of Italian culture that most characterises the "Belpaese" abroad. After the success of 2017, this year 100 "Ambassadors" of Italian culture - testimonials chosen among designers, entrepreneurs, journalists, critics, communicators, and teachers - will talk about the relationship between design and sustainability in 100 locations around the world. "I am honoured to be able to give our small contribution to this important initiative this year as well, which bears witness to the crucial role that Italian design plays in the world" says Roj. "Furthermore, China, where we have been active for more than 15 years, is a country to which I am particularly attached, so the choice to assign me to the city of Beijing makes me even more proud".
