The Italian Cultural Institute of Lisbon is taking part in the Second Edition of the Italian Design Day in the World on March 1st, organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in collaboration with the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Tourism, the Milan Trienniale, the ICE Agency, the Milan Furniture Fair, and many other public and private institutions. The aim is to showcase the excellence of Italian design that represents the distinction of the 'Made in Italy' - one of the main branches of the integrated promotional activity of "Italian living" (# VivereALL'Italiana), capable of transmitting an innovative image of Italy abroad. For the Italian Design Day, the Magistretti Foundation has produced the exhibition "Svicolando. Homage to Vico Magistretti". The exhibition, curated by Nadir Bonaccorso, an Italian architect living in Portugal, will be inaugurated by the Director of the Italian Cultural Institute, Luisa Violo, in the Sala Vieira da Silva of the Cultural Centre of Belém on March 1st at 19:00. At 18:00 there will be a talk held by Italian Design Ambassador, Rosanna Pavoni.
