(28 November 2018) The Dante Alighieri Association organised the second edition of the "Italian Film Festival" in Malaga until tomorrow, which this year focuses on women. The website of the Embassy in Madrid communicates that the festival was inaugurated on November 26th in the presence of the actresses Angela and Marianna Fontana and the Councilor of the Italian Embassy in Madrid, Luis Cavalieri, with the film "Indivisibili" - winner of six awards David Donatello and five Silver Ribbons, directed by Edoardo De Angelis. "La Pazza Gioia" by Paolo Virzì, winner of five David di Donatello and five ribbons, was the focus of the second day of the festival which also includes the participation of Juan Antonio García Sánchez, coordinator of the clinical mental health management unit of the civil hospital in Malaga. Tomorrow marks the last day of feature films at Cinema Albéniz with "Pane e tulipani" by Silvio Soldini with the presence of Marina Massironi, a supporting actress. The closing of the Festival is scheduled for December 2nd at 19:00 at the Unicaja Concert Hall María Cristina with a symphonic concert that traces the Italian soundtracks that have marked world cinema including those of Ennio Morricone, Nino Rota, and Nicola Piovani.
