Ski, Five Italian Giant Slalomers in Ushuaia for the World Cup

The first group of World Cup teams is ready to depart for South America for the usual gathering on the Argentinian snows of Ushuaia.Today the group of male giant slalomers will fly to Ushuaia, where they will ski until September 18th, when they return to Italy. With 20 days of work ahead of them, manager Alessandro Serra has called on Giulio Bosca, Luca De Aliprandini, Alex Hofer, Riccardo Tonetti, and Giovanni Borsotti, coaches Ruggero Muzzarelli, and Devid Salvadori, and trainer Andrea Viano . Roberto Nani will join his team on Wednesday, August 29th and the slalom team instead will start Saturday, August 25th. There is news, however, regarding the gathering of sprinters also present in Ushuaia from August 23rd. The trip was originally divided into two phases, consisting of the transfer to the Chilean locality of La Parva on Friday September 7th. However, the low snow conditions on the slop does not allow for enought time for a profitable training, which is why the technical staff will wait until the end of August to decide whether to extend the trip in Argentina until September 19th - the original date set for their return to Italy.
