(4 October 2018) As part of the joint programme of intra-university mobility "Pietro della valle" - promoted by the Italian Ministry of Education, University, and Research and the Iranian Ministry of Science, Research and Technology - a conference organized by the University of Bologna and the University of Shiraz was held in recent weeks. The initiative is part of the project "From Past to Future: Cultural Heritage as an Instrument for Sustainable Development" initiated by the University of Bologna and coordinated by Professor Pierfrancesco Callieri from the Department of Cultural Heritage.  The conference was attended by numerous qualified Italian and Iranian academics and experts working in the fields of archeology, archaeometry, art history, digital restoration, and 3D reconstruction.
