The Italian Cultural Institute of Barcelona takes part in the 44th edition of the Filmal Festival of Badalona in support of an important encounter with the Italian short film. For the occasion, Ninetto Davoli, who starred in numerous films by Pasolini, and Luca Dal Molin, director of the Vicenza Short Film Biennale have been invited.  The festival, in collaboration with the Consulate General of Italy in Barcelona, has also organised the screening of various short films. At the end of the screening of "Pinocchio elettronica", Teatre Zorrilla will host "Focus Itàlia" -  a contending  international session that represents the best of Italian production as evidence of the talent and creativity of today's filmmakers. The short films are "Il legionario" (13 minutes), "59 seconds" (16 minutes); "Piccole Italiane" (18 minutes),  and "Timballo" (18 minutes). The speakers are Hleb Papou, Morgane Bogdanoff and Maurizio Forcella The event - organised by IIC in collaboration with the Consulate will be on October 21st, 18:00 at the Teatre Zorrilla in Badalona.
