From Monday to Friday, BigItalyFocus provides an information overview, ranged from development aid to made in Italy
(11 October 2018) "Senti chi chi parla" (Look Who's Talking), collects the 101 most famous phrases in cinema and tells the story of who really spoke them. Meaning, the Italian dubbers, the best in the world, who's stories often resembling a film. The book will be presented on October 18 at 18.30 at the Italian Institute of Culture in Los Angeles. The initiative, by one of the authors of the book Massimo Veronese, journalist of Il Giornale, and of publisher Paolo Battaglia, was presented successfully at the Venice Film Festival in 2017 and is part of the events planned by the Italian Institute of Culture of Los Angeles on the occasion of the 18th edition of the Italian Language Week in the world. Senti chi parla will be presented by Veronesi, Battaglia, and by voice actor Alessandro Quarta also in Houston on October 15th (University of Houston College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences); Orange on October 16th (Chapman University), and Las Vegas on October 19th (College of Southern Nevada). The event on October 18th is organised by the IIC in collaboration with Anniversary Books, Consulate General of Italy in Houston, University of Houston, Rice University, Italian Cultural and Community Centre of Houston, Chapman University, Casa Italian of Las Vegas, and College of Southern Nevada.
