Italy-Cameroon cooperation: high-level training courses by the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa

Yaoundé - The Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa has organized three high-level training courses in Yaoundé, Cameroon, aimed respectively at the judiciary, the police forces, and civilian personnel involved in human rights protection. With the crucial support of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies has coordinated, in collaboration with the Ministry of Justice of Cameroon and the École Nationale d'Administration et de Magistrature, a high-level training course, which concluded on Thursday, April 26th, focusing on organized crime and judicial cooperation, with particular reference to economic and financial aspects, targeting Cameroonian judges and magistrates. The course called upon the excellence of the "Italian System" in the field: the world of research represented by Giovanni Carlo Bruno, the first researcher in international law at the National Research Council (CNR), and the world of the judiciary, represented by Lorenzo Salazar, Deputy Attorney General at the Court of Appeal of Naples, point of contact for the European Judicial Network and national correspondent for Eurojust.
