(12 June 2018) The Italian Institute of Culture of St. Petersburg - with a committee of 10 Italian and Russian readers - participates for the first time in the vote to elect the winner of the Premio Strega award, whose finale will be on July 5 at the National Etruscan Museum of Villa Giulia in Rome. The presentation, which will take place on 28th June at the New Alexandrinskij Theatre, includes the participation of the 5 Italian and 5 Russian finalists who will present and read some translated texts from the 5 finalist books. The delegation will be accompanied by the President and Director of the Bellonci Foundation. This event is part of a long series of events organised by the Italian Institute of Culture to spread knowledge about contemporary Italian literature, but it will also be an excellent opportunity to promote an exchange between the authors of both countries.
