(22 june 2018) Arancini, fried pizza, focaccia, panuozzi, prawns with ice, codfish, other seafood, meat and vegetarian meatballs, porchetta or fried octopus sandwiches, tasty bignès and cakes accompanied by real Neapolitan coffee, and much more. The first and much anticipated Italian Street Food Festival takes place in Berlin. The festival celebrates the best the best of the Italian culinary tradition in Berlin. The first edition, consisting of 15 stands and food trucks, will be held on Saturday June 23rd and Sunday 24th from 10:00 to 22:00 at the Osthafen. During the event, one can savor the most varied Italian specialties for all tastes, accompanied by DJ sets and theatrical performances in the wide area along the river. Like other events organised by True Italian (the 72 hrs True Italian Food programme will be from September 27th - 30th), this initiative aims to promote the excellence and variety of true Italian cuisine abroad.
