(25 june 2018) Maestro Ciro Carbone will visit the National Gallery of Sofia on June 28th where he will hold a conference/concert organized by the Italian Institute of Culture. The theme of the event will be the relationship between music and symbolism in the Baroque period, as part of educational public programmes of the exhibition “Bernini and the Roman Baroque: The Language of Modernity. Works from Palazzo Chigi in Ariccia”. Maestro Carbone will guide a string quartet composed of Bulgarian musicians. Carbone, from Naples (class of ‘73), began studying the guitar at a young age under the tutelage of Maestro Francesco De Sanctis. He then went on the graduate from the San Pietro a Majella Conservatory in Naples. Since receiving his Diploma, he has embarked on an intense concert career that led him to perform in different music events in Italy and abroad.
