Exhibition Fabrizio Plessi. The soul<br>of the stone at the Pushkin Museum

(26 june 2018) The exhibition "Fabrizio Plessi. The soul of the stone" will remain open to the public until August 5th at the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts in Moscow. The soul of the stone ". The aim of the site-specific exhibition is to engage in dialogue with one of the leading names in international video art,  Italian artist Fabrizio Plessi (Reggio Emilia, 1940). Moscow's great museum will witness the tradition of Western art. The exhibition was organised by the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts in collaboration with the Italian Institute of Culture of Moscow. "The dialogue with the Pushkin Museum stems from a deep and consolidated conviction that the artist has often placed at the centre of his research and that is also at the heart of the museum's mission: the classics cannot exist without contemporaneity and, vice versa, only through contemporary narratives we discover new ways of viewing works of the past. Innovations conquered by contemporary art pass through the continuous rediscoveries of the past" as stated on the IIC Moscow website.
