(28 June 2018) On July 12th, the Italian Institute of Culture – in collaboration with the Italian Embassy - in Valletta will host Maestro Fabio Barbagallo’s guitar concert "A Musical Bridge Between Sicily and Malta" featuring music by Borre da Milano, Logy, Tisserand, Paganini, and Pujol. Fabio Barbagallo completed his guitar studies at the Liceo Musicale "V. Bellini" in Caltanissetta (Music High School). He also attended courses in musical composition at the Conservatory of Palermo and completed his studies in Electronic Music, specialising in "Musical Disciplines and New Technologies" (Mark: 110/110) at the Higher Institute of Musical Studies "V. Bellini" in Catania. Among the most internationally active Italian guitarists of his generation, he has been a jury member in many international competitions and has held concerts, conferences, and masterclasses in as many as 24 countries.
