Jose' Luis Vertiz Exhibition: “A stroll through Rome

(28 June 2018) The Italian Institute of Culture of Lima hosts José Luis Vértiz's exhibition “A Passeggio per Roma" (A Stroll Through Rome) until July 14th. After graduating in architecture from the Universidad Ricardo Palma, the artist obtained his Master's Degree in Restoration at "La Sapienza" University of Rome and has since lived in Rome for over 20 years. The artist returned to Peru in 2014 and currently teaches at the Faculty of Architecture of the Universidad de Lima and at the Toulouse-Lautrec Institute. Throughout his career, he has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Lima and Rome. The exhibition "A Stroll Through Rome" marks his fourth solo exhibition and showcases a selection of watercolours that represent the charm emitted every nook and cranny of the "Eternal City" and with which the artist continues to maintain a close emotional bond.
