On Monday July 2nd at 10:00, the Italian artist Andrea Bianconi placed 25 alarms that went off one after the other, giving life to the "Time to ring" performance in front of the United Nations headquarters in Geneva - the most important international intergovernmental organisation. "An action dreamt up by Bianconi to draw attention to the environmental issue. Aware of climate change and of all the disastrous consequences it entails, the artist has founded a globally widespread participatory and multimedia movement to unite individual power and increase global awareness of the urgency to act in the name of the planet's well-being. The project was developed through a series of performances that will take place on all continents: the first symbolically started in Davos on the occasion of the February 2018 World Economic Forum in the presence of world leaders. The choice to perform on July 2nd is not at all random. For symbolic reasons, the artist has in fact opted for the half-year mark".
