On July 9th, at 18:30 the pianist Alessandro Vena will present his latest album "Gyres" at the Italian Institute of Culture in Oslo which also includes a piece by the Norwegian composer Marcus Paus, who will be present for the occasion. The first part of the evening at the IIC will be dedicated, in addition to the work of Paus, to Italian composers, and Debussy and Chopin in the second. Alessandro Vena offers a repertoire that ranges from baroque to contemporary with a preference toward the romantics, Chopin in particular. His international concert activity led him to hold recitals in Italy, other countries in Europe and America. As a solo pianist he has held concerts for prestigious Stagioni in 2016 accompanied by prestigious world-famous Symphony Orchestras including the "Ciaikowkij Russian State Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra" and the "Bulgarian State Philharmonic Orchestra of Vidin".
