The photography exhibition "Praga 1968", curated by Walter Liva, is on view until August 5th at the Central European House of Photography in Bratislava. Before arriving in Bratislava, the exhibition was held in Manzano, province of Udine and at the Italian Institute of Culture in Prague. It recounts a crucial moment in the history of Czechoslovakia on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the "Prague Spring". The exhibit was organised by the Italian Embassy, the Italian Institute of Culture in Bratislava, the CRAF (Photography Research and Archive Centre), the Regional Council of Friuli Venezia Giulia, and the Central European House of Photography in collaboration with Stredoeurópsky dom fotografie. Is the exhibition's curator. The more than 100 photographs preserved in the archives of the "Photography Research and Archive Centre" of Spilimbergo (Pordenone) that make up this exhibition are by Carlo Leidi and Alfonso Modonesi, Pavel Sticha (Czech Rep.), and Sune Jonsson (Sweden).
