(9 July 2018) From classical to popular music, world music, and cinema: Giovanni Seneca, a guitarist with years of experience in Italy and abroa will represent Italy at the "Babel Sound Festival 2018" in Budapest, Monday July 16th. Seneca has lived in Paris for six years where he specialised at the Ecole Normale de Musique and the Ravel conservatory. He has produced in various fields, writing and interpreting songs, solo pieces, chamber music, and orchestral works. He also composed music for the cinema and theatre and performed in major Italian cities and theaters as well as in Paris, Berlin, New York, Philadelphia, Istanbul, Tel Aviv, Sarajevo, Belgrade, Zagreb, Smyrna, Durres, Hammamet, Alexandria, Cairo. In April 2009, he was the protagonist in a trio with two other musicians from New Zealand in a 12-concert tour in the major cities, with a programme that includes original compositions by Seneca and other musicians from New Zealand.
