(9 July 2018) The president of the Italian Red Cross and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, Francesco Rocca, will be in New York, at the United Nations, for the last round of negotiations on the UN Global Compact Summit on migration. Rocca will ask the representatives of nations guaranteed access to minimum standards of assistance for any migrant at the international level and independently of their legal status ("Safe Points" by the Italian Red Cross, where listening, assistance, and orientation, is one of the best practices that will be discussed).
