(12 July 2018) The Tunis regional office of the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation inaugurated its new headquarters yesterday, in 5 rue Harroun Errachid, in the district of Mutuelville. The event, which was also attended by Deputy Director of the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation, Lorenzo Carmenati, has been an opportunity to reaffirm the renewed commitment of Italian Cooperation in the Mediterranean region, particularly in Tunisia, which is always been a priority for Italy, given its geographical, cultural and political proximity. In fact, the Italian Cooperation has been constantly present in Tunisia since the 80s, dedicating itself to the support of the Tunisian private sector, of SMEs, as well as to public investments and disadvantaged regions, particularly in the south of the country.
