(18 July 2018) The Italian Institute of Culture of Lima, in collaboration with the Bologna Children's Book Fair and Imaquinario 2018, in the context of the 23rd International Book Fair in Lima and with the support of MAC - Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Lima and Cámara Peruana del Libro, presents the exhibition: "Illustration for children: Italian excellence". The exhibition presents Lima with a group of contemporary Italian artists, particularly representative in the world of illustration for children, on an international scale. In tune with the Bologna Illustrators Exhibition, some well-known artists - such as Chiara Carrer, Lorenzo Mattotti, and Roberto Innocenti - share a space with younger illustrators, such as Philip Giordano and Arianna Vairo, thus shining a light on Italian excellence in illustration and sharing it with the world. The exhibition will remain open from July 23rd to August 25th at the Mario Sironi Gallery of the IIC.
