"Iila, An Italian-Latin American Dream" Exhibition

The photography exhibition "IILA, an ItalianAmerican Dream (1967-2017)" was inaugurated on July 11th at the Senate of the Buenos Aires Province for the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the foundation of the Italian-Latin American Institute (IILA). The event was attended by the Vice Governor of the Province of Buenos Aires, Daniel Salvador; the Coordinator of the Centro de Estudios Italianos (IRI-UNLP), Juan Carlos Persico; and the Italian Consul General in La Plata, Iacopo Foti. They emphasised the importance of the organisation in promoting relations between Italy and the Latin America continent and deeper ties between Italy and Argentina. The exhibition, part of the 50th anniversary of the IILA celebrations, traces the history of the organisation texts and images. The exhibition (free admission) will remain open until Friday July, 27th.
