With the support and patronage of the Italian Embassy in Sarajevo, the d'Archi Orchestra of the Sarajevo Music Academy (MAS) will perform in Vico del Gargano (Apulia) on July 23rd and 24th as part of the "Voci per Vico" Festival of the Maestro and Opera director Francesco Esposito, and in Porto San Giorgio (Marche), within the 26th Edition of the Festival "Di Villa in Villa", organised by the "Armonicamente" Cultural Association. Both concerts will be directed by Tijana Vignjević. The MAS Archi Orchestra, led by the award-winning cellist, Belma Alić, was established in 1999 for young Bosnian artists to develop their talents. In this perspective, this initiative is an ideal bridge between the Peace Orchestra, realised by the Italian Embassy which has brought young people together from the Orchestras and Academies from all over of Bosnia Herzegovina and performed at the Riva Music Festival (Trento). The "Orkestar Mladih BiH", also upon initiative of the Embassy will once again bring together the most talented young musicians in the country for a big concert on October 12th at the National Theatre of Sarajevo.
